If you want acceleration and are not worried about top speed then use the highest ratio diff you can find, IIRC there is a 3.92 diff in some form of Sierra.
This will still give you a top speed enough to loose you licence

Freelander diffs are more common than sierra 3.14s and are probably cheaper too, and lighter.

The donor diff gives 39 and 59 in 1st and 2nd. Would this annoy you, having to shift before hitting round numbers on the speedo? It would ruin your 0-60 times by having a 2nd - 3rd shift at 59 MPH. If it doesn't trouble you, stick with the donor diff.

3.1 and 3.2 diffs have worse acceleration in each ger than a 3.6. They have more top speed in each gear though. For acceleration off the line and wheelspin ability, find a higher numbered diff. For top speed fit a lower numbered diff. for best 0-62 time, you want a 1.54 diff ideally.
