I've built a Mirage countach and that ebay car is a disaster area!
Mine was a V8 rover with fast cams and 4 twin dellortos.
VW beetle.....what a waste of time!
The poor person who buys it, had better have deep pockets.
Mine cost over £15K and that was in 1989!
It also took me 5 years to sort out the bodywork so that it looked right.

I'm sure this car was at the Exeter show a few years ago, or one just like it. A ratty old dog of a car, and the embarrasment of getting in and starting it up with a bunch of car enthusiasts around must be awful.

To be fair, the seller has said it is a rat.

btw, is it just me, or does the car get shorter and shorter the further down the photos you go?

I can't think of anything VW based that would sell for £30,000 though.

Apart from a Porsche that is.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
