Temperature Gauge

Not sure if this sits in this section or electrics, the temperature gauge has recently packed up on my Locost (1600 Xflow) can someone please let me know what area's to check.

The petrol gauge still works which is on the same unit.

Take the wire off the temp sender unit and touch it to earth. The guage *should* go off the scale. If it does, the sender is knackered, if it doesnt, there is a wiring/guags fault.

unless its a capilary type, ie not electrical, have you got electrical connections on your sender?
