Any information good or bad on the Nissan Note?

My sister-in-law is thinking of trading in her corsa for one. Any major warnings/problems with them I should pass on?

The web-reviews seem reasonably positive. With its being pricey for the equipment level and a firm ride seeming to be the major complaints.

Well I'll not expect a 'it's crap because...' comment from you then

Just trying to make sure there aren't any major faults before she does the deed - she's going for test drive later this week apparently.

Don't suppose you know the secret handshake and password for 50% discount from a nissan main dealer?

nope sadly not there still much in demand so we're making them as fast as we can. We've not had any major faults reported on them, pretty much what you've said is what we're adressing. as i always say take it for a test drive if you like it, you like it. if you don't you don't.

We've just overtaken the Honda Jazz in the IQS surveys, so thats a bonus. I will openly admit we do have some bad dealerships, but these are the independants, so any problems try the next nearest.

as for the discounts just the usual haggling, remember they want your sale at the end of the month / quarter to meet the targets etc etc

hope that helps

oh had you considered the qashqai? it's now officially the safest car ever tested by ENCAP.

Apparently you can put loads of stuff in it and the car won't explode when you shut the boot, which has got to be a good thing.

Yes, both assembly line and bodyshop, those robots are something else in the bodyshop, but of the big 3 japs in the UK Nissan beats Honda and Toyota hands down on the assembly line side of things.
