Respacing bike carbs

Has anyone got any experience of respacing ZX6R or ZX9R carbs?

As far as I can see the only tricky bit is the ali fuel pipe that fits with an O ring between each float chamber.

Tricky me thinks, but that shouldn't stop you.

Bike Carbs

Hi

I have done both ZX6 & ZX9 and it is quite easy if you have a lathe.

The fuel pipes between carbs needs remaking, you will need to extend the throttle arms between carbs and make new spacers to give the correct spacing.

What engine are they going on as I have the dimensions for a Pinto & Zetec if you want them.

Hi Keith

Unfortunately I don't have a lathe - they are going onto a Zetec - The dimensions would be helpful.

Cheers
