Suspension bush lubricant
What type of lubricant do you use when assembling suspension bushes into wishbones and for the crush tube.
I seem to remember someone not recommending copper slip.

I used red silicone based grease - usually used for brake components and won't attack rubber/plastic.
Copaslip is oil based and might damage the plastic or cause it to swell or deteriorate.
I think........

I recently bought some new urethane bushes from Wisbech Engineering and noticed that they also recommend silicone grease. My original bushes, on which
I *think* I used normal bearing grease, are all now creaking madly.....

If it's just for assembly a quick squirt of Armorall works for me. Cheers, Pewe

Copaslip is not a lubricant it's an anti-seize compound.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Used rubber grease when I did mine. Make sure the crush tubes are not too short like mine and a few others were! If the arms are tight when fitted you
have a problem , found the easiest way to test was to nip each assembled bush/crush tube in a vice and rotate the arm.
