There are 2 ways, 1st you have a similar pole 5-6 inches further back working in paralell to the stick in the box connected with a horizontal pole, doesn't look very attractive the second is neater but requires you to beable to make parts on a lathe or buy them, heres the website with pics this is for type 9 not 4 speed, i am not sure what the difference at the gear selector but i am sure a simlar idea would work.

hope these are of some help

I was thinking about blowing my own trumpet, but I wasn't sure what the back end of a 4-speed looked like! If it's the same as the 5-speed then it should work OK.

cheers,

David

remote problem on 4 speed

Hi.
The 4 speed lever setup is different in a lot of ways to the 5 speed, I've looked up the web pages and saw how the T9 remote worked and then on mine, it will not do..I might have to change the box for a T9 and sell the prop and box and quickshift... :-( I was hoping to keep the 4 speed for weight reasons, and on the track or Hillclimb I never would need 4th let alone 5th..I was hoping someone would have the remote sitting in the back of the garage... building kits is never easy..

Reverse gear operation

Hi
How does the remote setup effect reverse gear operation? what with the need to push down and over to the left?

Thanks.
