too much of the white stuff
oh dear does anyone know if you can freeze milk??? as due to a slight miscommunication about who was meant to get milk (her fault I'm sure of
it) we now have no less than 32 pints of milk!!!
I feel faint.

Freezing milk
Yes you can freeze milk
But check the side of the container. It should say suitable for freezing.
Some milks are not suitable for freezing
Something to do with pre treating
If you cant freeze it , I'll be up for a few hundred cups of tea

We use full fat milk and freeze it. But when it defrosts don't be tempted to use some whilst there's still ice in it, it tastes very
wattery until its all melted and shaken.

Could be wrong but I'm not sure giving dogs dairy produce is good for them ?. I know cheese is bad news as thier stomachs can't digest it.

Yes you can freeze it, but needs to be fully defrosted and shaken (not stirred) before use, as said above!
And no, it's not the best to give dogs milk really - you might find you have some "less solid" samples to clear up!

We freeze semi-skimmed milk in the normal supermarket 2 and 4 litre plastic bottles all the time. Saves having to be so organised when you go to the
shops.

They can't digest milk very well so it will potentially give them diarrhoea, but given that sort of crud that dogs eat it's very unlikely
to be harmful to them as such.
OTOH chocolate (or at least one of the chemicals in it) is very poisonous to dogs and can kill them in sufficient quantities.

We freeze milk to take camping, it keeps the cool box chilled till it thaws out then you can use it. Don't forget to take some not frozen
though, it's a long time to go without a brew.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
