connecting fuel pipe

i need to connect a fuel pipe from

6mm metal to the connecter on the blade cabs which i think is 9mm want to have a filter in the pipe as well.

last time i did have a reducer coming out of the feed to the carbs which knocked the piping down to 7mm which was good enough.

just wondering what other people have used in there carbed blade engine

thanks
simon

Sorry to change the subject but what are those 8 spoke wheels on your car ? They look great.

I've seen these before on the MK website on a black MK Indy and asked before on this site what they were but no-one could tell me.

Grateful if you let me know what they are and also what size and wheel offset if you know.

Cheers

Angus

I don't have a Locost or a BEC but I did have to attach a 5/16" fuel pipe to a 3/8" fuel rail.
That's 8mm to 10mm in new money. I found a cheap plastic truck fuel filter that had stepped ends on so you could trim it to suit the size of pipe. Obviously, I trimmed one end to 5/16" and the other to 3/8"!!

I've used 8mm all through mine. Hot water gets it onto fuel pump and carbs fine with a nice fit on the metal fuel lines too
