Few problems with Bling sump

We are having a few teething problems with our new sump.

The bosses on the sump to hold on the oil gallery pipes are to long, by approx 2mm.

There appears to be one missing to hold in a gallery plug bottom right.

Also the swing arm fouls on the plastic/rubber oil return pipe instead of hitting the endstop.

Life ain't meant to be easy

Mac, the oil pipes are slightly larger on the engines from 03 onwards, so you'll need to file the bosses down to compensate.

I'd firstly double check with Koenig that you have the correct sump pan and if so, ask them for advice on fitting it.

Email and pics already sent, just wanted to get some more opions and let people know about it in case they are looking at getting one! We will probably get it machined if we can't machine it ourselves.

Get it machined?...... What's wrong with a file and Vernier Calipers?

Ah precision engineering...

How are you going to get a micrometer into the middle of the sump pan?

OK So you edited you post... LOL

Who mentioned a micrometer? Place a steel rule or similar straight edge across the top of the sump pan and use the depth gauge on the Vernier Calipers to measure down to the top of the boss.
