TRAILER

For sale, due to sale of car...

Thought i'd give 1st choice to you guys, before sticking it on the Bay of E.

Good cond, new tyres. 1st £200 ono secures.

Have also got new wheel clamp (already set up but not on - about 1 month use and looks brand spanking, think it was £50+ so a decent one) and straps still in packaging (tenner). Will take offers on the lot. Pick up from Leeds is preferred!

Mate has just been from leeds to Cornwall and back, no problem - picked up original Mini on it and did a very respectable time. Fits locost (both IRS and live have been on it). Will give accurate measurements if anyone wants.

Don't mess around me!

Seems a very fair price for the trailer as well! You should have no trouble in shifting that!

I'm in Selby on Wed, so could pick it up then.

I only need it one off, or two times if I fail SVA!
Nobody else in the NE want to go a diffy on it? I'll be interested in a 4 off group buy.

Steve

cheers for all the replies chaps!

i'm attaching pics of the wheel clamp, and see below for measurements (as all good, and bad, estate agents say: do not rely on them exactly. I only learnt how to use a tape measure a week ago):

rear wheel to wheel = 1.83 m

front wheel to wheel = 1.53 m.
NOTE:
This means that you cannot reverse it on, or perhaps if you have clammy flap wings you may find this too tight. Front ways it dont need to be that wide, you can therefore make the whole thing fit in a garage!

total width of trailer including mud flaps = 2000 mm. See? Its narrow enough to go next to your wifes moped/exercise bike/dancing pole and the tumble dryer

total length including hitch = 4.30 m

I'd prefer to take a price for the clamp and the trailer together(and it is probably wise, with the price of scrap as it is!!), so 1st offer for both to u2u gets it.

Otherwise i will send the clamp by post (its a heavy bugger though!)

And thanks Joel, for the offer of getting it oop north! Pint or 2 in it for you (dont i owe you some anyway?!!) Rescued attachment clamp1.jpg

Thanks Mark, but no good to me!

The Indy has the same track front and back, mine needs 1640mm from tyre wall to tyre wall.

Cheers

Mike
