Car Transporting - Your help :)

hi,

I have to get my part built to some dodgy bloke named Steve in the Cheshire area

I'm in Liverpool, and have a tow bar but no tow bar electrics and whilst I towed a bike the other day with no problem I'm pretty sure a 7 will obscure my lights entirly and be dangerous.

SOOOOOoooooooo....

Does anyone have a trailer and a tow car that they wouldn't mind driving to help me out? I will cover your petrol/deisel costs and buy you fish and chips for lunch!

The car won't weigh much more than 300kg's so it won't knacker anyones trailer.

The date for this adventure is sat 10th May.

If anyone could help me out I'd be very grateful, as I'm not sure what other options I have and I want steve to get my engine in before summer

Thanks gents!

Hi
You can borrow my towing A-frame if you have no other better offers. I work in Liverpool and live in Cheshire. Someone could follow you very closely and act as your brake and indicators - fingers crossed regarding the BIB.

I am hoping that I will have a towcar by then!!!

I'm going to buy my uncles car off him (I think) It's the Audi Quattro Estate 2.8 V6 that I've used before and I know it's history etc, it's just quite dear to insure, but I'm trying my best to get it sorted before May 10th buddy!!!

Good one!

Cheers mate, but I might be ok, had a few kind offers, so no worries if you can't assist - I'll sort it one way or another.

why not put standard 7pin electrics on your car. For the cost of petrol and fish and chips you can buy the electrics. It is not hard and depending on the year of your car you could get a car specific kit that just plugs in.

Trailer hire is about £35. My local large Tesco Extra is now selling trailer electrics!

Just be on time. I can't have Steve getting upset in the week that I have to sit next to him around Mallory Park. Calm is good.
