cable

Hi,
need a couple of bolts with hole drilled through to retain clutch and throttle cables, solderless nipples not strong enough.
Anyone know if these are available online?
(yeah I know I could make my own, but after the third drill bit I've 'ad enough!)

thanks
jim

what about soldered nipples then?

clean the cable end, slapy it out, some plumber solder and job done.

VWP sell he cable and nipples - hundreds of thousands of BSAs used this without problem.

but if you insist on drilling bolts - not easy as you have found out, then what about using the cable adjusters? bit more pricey unfortunately.

You could just drill through a couple of bolts. I have. File a flat on the bolt by the head and mark with a centre punch. Hold the bolt in a vice and drill.
