750mc Master cylinder

What master cylinders do you use?

If you have any pics could you post them?

I asked alot of people at the weekend however I have had a sleep since then!!

This applies to 750mc championship cars only,

Thank you,

My car was built with 2 master cylinders, one for the front and one for the rear with a pedal-based bias bar for brake bias. Both feed from a single reservoir.

Something like this:

I can't remember what bore mine are though.

Cheers

I use wilwood ones with an integral Reservoir from rally design.

As for bore size, the front circuit should be smaller than the back to get more pressure to the front.

Currently I'm using 5/8 on the front and 3/4 on the back. Before Cadwell I was using 3/4 front and back but I was on the limit of my bias bar to get the fronts to lock before the rears.

You can also fiddle about with how much thread you leave on the master cylinder piston to change the front to rear ratio a bit.

I'm sure someone will have a different opinion but that's what I use.

BTW was it you and your dad helping fix my car on Saturday? If it was, ta very much

Im using wilwood ones , front .625 and rear .75 with integral reservoirs also bought from rally design and a balance bar on the pedal box.

Sorry I didn't speak much at Cadwell, was just a little pissed off!! My coil packed up in the paddock prior to qualifying so I missed out on racing! Cadwell seems to be a bogey track for me, 3 times racing, 3 mechanical failures!!

Ah well, such is life ( and racing !) I'll be at Angelsey if your there, this time I will say hello!!
