Board will be the 1.03 version I suspect, as the 1.04 is still in development (as I understand it) and only being sent out singly as a prototype.

We're ready to go... Alan has got back to me and confirmed stock, so just need you all to pay now!

Very quick and dirty page I knocked up with some Paypal links on it. If you wish to avoid the fees, you can post me a cheque, or BACS money directly to me.

Anyone can order a sensor, you don't have to be on the list. Closing date is 30th May, or when everyone on the list has paid, whichever comes sooner. If you're not on the list and want a unit, get in as soon as possible!

Cheers, Chris

if its possible id like one without display. I know you can't do it unless someone will have the display, so is there anyone out there that would do a joint buy? obviously this is providing chrisw is ok with it?

Just tried to pay via PayPal but it doesn't give me the option to add notes to the seller as it usualy does? The first part of my email address is the same as my username anyway.

Chris, do you know if the schematic is available for the 1.03 design? Just curious about the circuit.

As a matter of interest... why the need to flush-mount the display?

Those 7-segment LED displays have terrible contrast without a red or grey filter in front - in anything other than half-light you'll have trouble reading the numbers. And, if you're going to fit a filter anyway, you might as well leave the display board as standard and set it back a little (also improves the visibility a bit).

I bought some see-through red perspex last week, which is perfect as a filter.

If you don't believe me, I'll take some photos of my display in its new shiny Maplins box with and without its red perspex lid!

It's not available that I could find, but rest assured that I will be doing some in-depth investigation when the boards arrive!

Also... an apology to you all...

I've been mega-busy with the business this week so I've not had a chance to progress this. Also it's half term, so I've had the Mrs here all week to keep entertained (she's a teacher, not a pupil!).

Promise I'll get on to this again either tomorrow or over the weekend. Those people that are waiting for payment details I'll send those over too!

Don't worry I got that as well, it's just an autoresponder that Chris has set up as the account is no longer used for email.
