Viento owners in southampton area?

Hi all, im building a Viento and was wondering if there was anybody in the are who is building one or has one on the road.

Greetings Tommy and welcome to the mad house. Off the top of my head I cannot think of anyone immediately. However I'm sure someone will prove me wrong shortly.

Hi

I dont know of any Viento builders in Southampton but I have a a Velocity that is finished & on the road & I live in Totton if thats any help.

Ive been building mine for a while (started then got a girlfriend so no work and now single have time and money to get it finished) now and need to get it finished and on the road this year so no dought i will be needing advice, did you do the electrics yourself as this is one area that i am not looking forward to.

IIRC the guy that won the kit from Luego for naming the Viento is down your way somewhere as well as another guy I spoke to on the Luego club stand at Stoneleigh so there are other builders in your area

Hi

Thanks for the comment. The car has had an engine change from those pics to a 2L Duratec so it goes a bit better now.

Yes I did do the electrics & if you have the Luego loom & relays it is quite easy.

If you need any help u2u me & we can see if we can arrange something.

There is also a meet (kits,locosts etc) on the second Tuesday of the month at the Sir John Barlycorn in Cadnam (west of southampton) which you are welcome to come along to.

Hi im in east sussex, heathfield (not exactly near). Been on the road nearly a month now, done approx 500 miles.
