escort prop reverse sleeve
Hi, anyone out there got a reverse sleeve to fit a gt 4 speed escort box? I've
just been told the reason for my prop failure at Anglesey was because
the prop I was using had the bearings pressed in but not secured using
circlips ! Over time one of the bearings has vibrated loose causing my
prop to fail! Apparently Ford had a couple of years doing this to save
cash but it has resulted in my prop failing.
So if anyone has a reverse sleeve, 1" 3/16ths outside diameter, 7/8ths
inside diameter with 16 splines and the bearings secured with circlips
I'd be willing to pay a reasonable amount of cash for it. If the
bearings are just pressed in then I don't want it as I already have one
of these and am not using it for my new prop!!
