TMC Motorsport Locost For Sale
FOR SALE – TMC MOTORSPORT LOCOST - £5750
Due to a change of plans for 2009 we are selling Matt Cherrington’s top spec Locost.
The car will be sold with a fresh TMC Motorsport engine that is currently in production and prepared with everything ready to compete immediately.
With many pole positions, fastest laps and podium finishes to its credit this car would be a serious championship contender if given a full committed
season.
The chassis is a Stuart Taylor, built from scratch for the 2007 season.
Avo adjustable shock absorbers all round, 550 lb/ft front springs, 150 lb/ft rear.
Caged manufactured roll cage fitted by TMC Motorsport.
5 Speed, Type 9 gearbox connected to a 4.1:1 differential.
6 point harness valid until 2011
Alfano digital dashboard mounted inside removable wheel with basic data logging functions
Brand new front brake pads
The car would benefit from a new set of tyres all round but aside from this it is ready to compete at the very front of the field. Cosmetically it is
not the best, but mechanically it has had everything done to ensure it is one of the quickest cars on the grid.
Massive spares package to be included in the price, as well as setup advice, race support and help as it is required for the new owner.
This car is very light, and would accommodate a driver of 100kg before it reached the dry minimum weight required for the championship.
The car will be available after the Silverstone weekend on 23rd/24th August and can be hired with full race support and setup for the remaining rounds
of the championship at Snetterton (28th Sept) and Mallory Park (12th Oct) if it is not sold beforehand.
