How much does a 13" tyre weigh?
As per title really, looking for an approximate weight of a 13" tyre. Not sure of brand, but it'll be a 185 / 60 R13.
I know the weight of the wheel is 6kgs ish.
Cheers

Yup!
Inspired by your almost legendary bargain hunting, I have bought a set of 13" minilites for £60*! Trouble is they are 250 miles away and
collection only.
Good bit is that having spoken to the seller, it looks like he's willing to wrap them up for me and wait for my courier to collect them!
6kg a wheel and 6kg a tyre makes 12kg x 4 = 48kg.
That's compared to 15kg a corner at the moment for the 14"s, 60kg.
A 12kg weight saving means more pies for me!
Cheers
Mike
* I know a true Zil wouldn't have paid more than 1p, but considering that I nearly spent £345 on a set of new ones, I'm pretty happy.

No no, 60 quid for a set of minilites is good. Fair play to you for that one.
P.S. I have the cheapo reverse box idea pretty much sussed.
More details on request etc.
