Bolting on Cycle Wings
My cycle wing just doesnt want to stay on on the drivers dide, not matter how much it is keyed, preped or what grab glue etc i use.
Can comeone point me in the direction of small black bolts and nut to scre the buggers on. been on screw fix but no joy in anything that small.
imagine 10mm or tops 15mm

Yeah - I used the tiger seal equivalent from Car Builder Solutions. There's no way that they're coming off - and that's with CSR
arches that don't butt-up flat against the wingstay at the back.
You're not doing something right Kriss.

just stickaflexed the bugger with two g clamps. It's only the drivers side one that's being an issue. If they do not stay on I will have
to bolt them. Cheers chaps

Proper sikaflex is good. I used Wurth Bond and seal.
As said before sounds like you arent doing something correctly. Is wing stay arm painted? rusting underneath? This would lessen the adhesion.
i cleaned arm to bright steel and roughened it. Cleaned underside of arch. Thich bead of seal on arm and held in place until set. Then applied more
underneath. Arm totally covered (mine as well as wing stay arm), total area probs 6" wide. Obviously not so thick that it touches tyre. No
probs in last 3 years and wing stay / arch assy was taken off 18 months for repainting and cosmetic work. Defo stuck well.

I formed some 25mmx 3mm steel to the shape of the wing, drill and tapped for a 6mm stud which was then welded as well then drilled the wing stays ,
bolted the strips to the stays and then used Sikaflex to stick the stips to the wings (clamped in place until set. ) W ings are removable and have no
bolts showing . Not had any problems with this method even when the wings stays have broken.
