Erm Yes!

Looks like it was written by a Nigerian. Try reading it in a phone jacker style voice.

Set up a new hotmail account and email him. Ask him to ring you on a landline and give him the local police station's number??

Hang on - that wont work! The police don't answer apparently according to a thread here earlier!!

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with the address of that excellent website that's full of ideas to string along and wind up scammers - I can't think of the address off the top of my head.

419 Eater

But would only suggest messing people like that about unless you've done a bit of research into it first and if you're sure they can't find out your address!

The number is a personal number - see 8th section down here and as far as I understand this number could be sold and switched tarriff to a higher rate upto £1.50 per min but I could be wrong.

Ouch - £1.50 min and he's not available... sounds like a great scam.

I know a Mike Jack, but agreed - Jack Mike as a name is a bit weird - although my name is pretty stupid too - perhaps my parents purchased a Nigerian Scammers book of childrens names
