Thats what I thought but there's a fair price difference per metre. Just wondered if there was a difference and reason for the different name, may have been a stupid question.

Just dont want a burst due to using the wrong hose.

The first is called extruded hose and can be had in up to 30m lengths, ideal for breathers and vacuum but not really for water. The second is reinforced with polyester webbing, this is hand laid round a mandrel hence making it far more labour intensive hence the higher price. Its much stronger, is better under pressure and also lasts a lot better than the extruded stuff also looks better. Just because its polyester reinforce does not make it high quality, there is a lot of far eastern rubbish on the market at the moment so I would go for good old British products like Samco/SFS as they are far better. None of these are suitable for fuel by the way!
