There's not much grip!
JeffHs - 17/2/09 at 02:59 PM

I've just been for a blat around the Peak District - a 65 mile round trip to buy a bag of flour. A degree of restraint is called for exiting bends, it's oh so easy to break traction.
Developed a dreadful misfire after 20 miles that I think might be carb icing, but it just helped me to stay off the gas and stick to most of the speed limits. It won't rev beyond 3000 without lots of very loud popping and banging. It's a Pinto with DGAV carb and K&N sticking out above the bonnet.

Nevertheless Brilliant!

Brilliant indeed, but take care

It was this time last year I decided to take the Indy to work and with a little more enthusiasm than skill managed to spin off a round about and through a hedge in front of a work colleague I'd just overtaken on the approach to the round about

Had mine sideways this morning with very little right foot.

A surprising amount of grip round my way. Still not loads, but more than I was expecting. Although I really do need some new rear tyres soon now!

Thats funny and bad at the same time!

I did the same thing coming out of my work yesterday. Didnt realise the lack of grip. Didnt even gas it much, about 1/2 revs and things shot round then come back. It gave my arms a workout!
