Fired up the Indy after a 14 month lay-up last night
I've been fixing and fettling over the winter, but hadn't had it back on all 4 wheels until last night. Took a little persaussion to get
the old Pinto fired up, some easy start and carb cleaner finally did the trick. Gave it a quick run up and down the road to check all was well and
test my new Dominator headlights (Russbost supplied).
Didn't go far (no tax, MoT or insurance) but what a buzz to be mobile again and feel the wind in your face

I made the most of the trip to/from MoT yesterday even though I use the nearest garage to my house (well it was a nice sunny day)
Had my new tyres filled with Nitrogen The tyre fitter assured me it's lighter, doesnt leak out and doesn't expand as much when hot
(i.e. maintains same tyre pressure). TBH I really don't see how you'd ever know unless you had a seriously light car racing round a track
all day, but it was only £2 a tyre and it does sound cool doesn't it
