At the risk of generalising an entire generation of motorists, was it someone of an elderly persuasion (can't think how many other people would buy such a grey car....)

If it had been rear wheel drive instead of front they could have just reversed off it and driven off!

Ah yes i know the bit- i bet thats caught loads of people out, though i've never seen anyone getting it That wrong before!!

As to how the driver got out of the car, that drop probably hurt more than the accident!
