Has anyone had any problems with the police when wearing black visor’s, I put mine on today due to the sun being so low.
When I used to ride my bikes the police used to enjoy pulling me over to advise me that we shouldn’t be wearing them, just wondered if the same
applies when in the car
i use a silver visor. and have had no trouble at all with the police.

I wear sunglasses behind a clear visor [helmet] no problems
no problems with mine either
I dont think the police would know what to charge you with, as its not a tinted windscreen and you are not on a bike

got an irridium visor (blue blocker known as) and no problems ever, even got a thumbs up from a copper once and was rocking no plate either
I use these inserts - http://www.oxford-shop.co.uk/item3241.htm
They work well for me as I like a tight helmet and can't get sunglasses on!

i've never had a prob with silver, black or blue in car or on bike. once got pulled for a simpson bandit though as the visor appature was too
small.
at the end of the day i don't think your really allowed to wear a helmet in a car on the road so i doubt a dark visor will make much
difference.
p.s. those inserts are great, used them on the bike, if you get caught out by the dark on the way home you can just take them out, roll them up and
put them in your pocket, un roll them the next day. a lot easier than carrying a spare visor

Should have any probs with the police when driving a car as it is not a legal requirement to wear a helmet on anything with 3 or more wheels.
Tom and Speedy are right. Most of us wouldnt know where to start with that. Its just the traffic, oh sorry Roads Policing, boys and girls that might have a clue with that one. Send me a u2u as a reminder and i'll try and get you a definative answer.
I have Caberg helmets for my car. They have internal tinted drop down visors which are quick to put in place.
I have a Caberg Justissimo helmet - same weight as most others, flip front, internal flip-down dark visor, doesn't tend to lift up at speed.
Only real downside is that the wind noise is high...
