Cadwell trackday yesterday ..26th March
Andy D - 27/3/10 at 05:43 PM

Didn't get off to a good start, had a windscreen / pheasant incident en route!

Ho hum... looking on the bright side, the weather was perfect. It remained dry and sunny most of the day.

The Civic, now in it's new red / white / silver paintwork, unfortunately wasn't behaving. It refused to run cleanly over about 7K all day. After giving it a test at Teesside only days ago, where it ran perfectly, today it would have none of it. We more or less gave up just after lunch. I had a run just using lowish revs, and Cadwell is still loads of fun, keeping the speed through the bends, the car handles great in the twisty bits.

Pete may put some vid up, in the mean time some pics. I think there were only three se7en type cars there. Dry sunny Cadwell, what a waste!

civics looking good. shame it wouldn't run right.
is it going to get another run out before the 1st race?

wasn't it a pheasant at croft? you must attract them

just got back from oulton park, the sports and saloons put on some excellent racing.

Not sure if the Civic will get another test before the first race.. Yes, I did hit a pheasant at Croft in the Westy, but this one yesterday was a swan sized pheasant! We very nearly hit another on the return journey.

Good day today for racing.

A bit of video, the missfire is not that obvious, but believe me, it was..
