Trackday at Oulton yesterday.
Andy D - 16/6/10 at 06:35 AM

Superb day at Oulton park yesterday. The weather couldn't have been better! Had some good fun on track, with most folks playing nice. My car appears to have survived the day, but there was a very seriously damaged BEC locost, condolencies, if your reading this..
Nice to meet up with a couple of bods off here. Steve (Hignet) and Richard (Bigfoot)

Pete will get some video up soon I expect, and here's some of my pictorial efforts:

Yes, a few damaged cars, I think it's one of those sort of circuits. Some big old velocities are attainable, resulting in big old damage if you make a mistake. ..still has to be one of my favorite tracks though.

Some footage from the day. Basically what happened was my son driving my Westy was fed on to the circuit right behind two pals, orange Megabusa and silver Caterham.
The footage is split between the Busa and my car. Appologies for the Busa footage, it's a bit shakey, and the passenger's helmet gets in the way now and again.
Watch for the mahoooosively fast Porsche passing all of us. ;-)
A few laps of Oulton

Looks like you had a good day - 2 consecutive dry days at Oulton, must be a record

Yes, the weather couldn't have been better, hope it holds for Cadwell. There should be some more footage up this week.

Rich, I didn't actually realise there was a camera set up in the Busa when I suggested you jump in. Worked out well though, cos I doubt Pete would have kept up without your weighty assistance.
