Just booked onto a Javelin day at Elvington - anyone else going or fancy it?

i wont set foot in the place anymore used to ba a regular, until the noise police stepped in.

as above i hope you have aquiet exhaust there very keen there, especially the very unhelpfull people at javelin.

ye i would check ye exhaust before you go. my mate went with a locost with a zetec engine with a quiet exhaust on it but it was over 87 bp on driveby so he got sent home and no refund.

i used to get on there day before air show and have a play about on track.

says on web site, format is open pit and 102db

102 been a while since they did that there.
no just checked 98 static and 87 drive by.

Yeah we've got a pretty quiet can on there so fingers crossed. measured at 94db static last time i checked.

The drive by things a bit of a tw*t - not like you can check that yourself is it. So I can see why you'd be p*ssed at being sent home for that.

We've been before with the pinto in, hopefully the duratec isnt much noisier on full chat
