I often stay in Calonge nr Palomos - Lovely lovely part of the world -
Your in a great spot for a lot of outdoor pursuits, not just driving.

Yes Calonge is nice my parents now live there. in fact all of the Costa Brava is nice!

I can vouch for the roads in this area. Last June I rode from Bilbao to Cabrera de Mar, near Barcelona, and spent 3 days in the area taking in the
Cataluyna Moto GP.
Your place would have been ideal.

And the Salvador Dali gallery in Figueres is amazing.

Yes i know cabanyas I Have installed quite a lot of uk satellite systems round there.
Urb mas pere is opposite the Rio de oro restaurante on the road to la bisbal (that's a good rd to drive!!!) I have often seen timed runs
through there with the local rally boys!!

Have you done the Tossa De Mar to Lloret road - Its fantastic
yes quite scary!! in fact all 3 ways into Tossa are fun to drive !! also montseny great roads one of the old rac special stages was held there.I went
out with the local Classic club me in the striker, did the old special stage then went for a great breakfast in a typical old farmhouse restaurant
then blatted home ..
