Digi Tacho Symbols?
coozer - 27/2/11 at 12:45 PM

I've searched round the .net for this but can't find what I'm looking.

Every time I do a print off the digi tacho there is a list of infringements on the bottom.

They show various little symbols along with the date, time and reg.

I would like to know what these little symbols actually mean as I have some recorded there when I wasn't even at work!

Last thing I want is the man from Vosa sucking through his teeth while he writes me a £2500 fixed penalty

Posting a picture might help.

Will VOSA really print a copy off then?

Its the little !x whatever codes.

The bottom ones 1~4 must be where I turned over in bed and farted, cause thats where I was at those times!

Looks like someone has moved the vehicle without inserting a card at those times?

If you're not at work you're not liable.

Reminds me of the time something didn't get done that was really important, the c**t of a boss was writing out the warning and when he told me to sign that I've accepted it I said "But wednesday was my day off"

Yes VOSA can print off the tacho, they have a card which they can insert and also insert a unit to download the past 12 months data on the unit, tacho card stores 28 days, it's all come a long way since I had 2 logbooks one for the ministry and one for my employer.
just to point out how stupid it's getting.
tacho week starts monday.
now if i drive a non tacho vehicle or warehouse work for a week no tacho required, if I however drive a non tacho vehicle for 3 days and then drive a tacho vehicle I then have to write out a paper (disc) tacho for the days I drove a non tacho vehicle in that week
