Dont forget the duck tape because last time i went my car got battered with stones flicking up, you will notice as soon as you get on the track.

yellowcab - 17/7/12 at 09:42 PM

Thank for the heads up, I presume you mean for the headlights...

Not fussed about the nosecone as the car is vinyl wrapped so doesn't get stone chipped

madteg - 17/7/12 at 10:29 PM

No i mean nosecone and rear arches and lights.

locoR1 - 17/7/12 at 11:11 PM

Would be doing this one if I wasn't on holiday, my brother and a couple of mates booked on it
Like Kev says lots of tape required the stones will cut through vinyl.

yellowcab - 18/7/12 at 06:45 PM

Ahhh cool - cheers.

What does your brother and mates drive?

locoR1 - 18/7/12 at 07:46 PM

Brothers is an MK Indy and the 2 mates are in westfields

That would be me looking forward to it will have my daughter with me again

I will try not to break it this time lol

Looking like it will be dry as well

Kev..........

yellowcab - 18/7/12 at 07:59 PM

Nice one Kev... how old is your little'un?

My wife will be following up a bit later with my two kiddie winks (2.5yrs, and 12weeks lol)

Kev99 - 18/7/12 at 08:09 PM

Shes 20 and will be in her car carrying the extra fuel and some tools and a nice comfy dry seat if needed

As the facilities there are pretty much non existant - some grotty old bogs - last time there was a burger van there which was ok actually

but there is no building like many airfields were you can go for a sit down

Kev.....

yellowcab - 18/7/12 at 08:13 PM

Ahhh cheers, nice one for the heads up.

LOL @ me referring to your 20 year old daughter as your 'littleun'.... I wasn't to know lol....

I haven't got a support vehicle coming with me this time, so its just a case of cramming the kit in that I can, and hoping I don't break severely... unless I buy a roof box between now and then, and make it fit to my cage, that is lol

yellowcab - 18/7/12 at 08:21 PM

Oh, I have a feeling another chappy called Mike might be coming in his Westfield Hayabusa

Kev99 - 18/7/12 at 08:24 PM

Hi,

I hope you dont mind me jumping in on you like this, but I was after some advice, I currently have 1999 R1 turbo Mac#1, I am trying to get it set up AFR wise but currently have not had much like after 2 visits to PDQ they have not got a clue niether. Its running mega rich could you give some sort of idea how your carbs are set up IE needle clip setting, main jet sizes etc, also what fuel pressure reg are you using.

All help you can give me is very much appeciated.

locoR1 - 30/8/12 at 06:54 AM

No problem if you send me a u2u tonight ill have a look think they are still written on the board in the garage.
Some details on your setup will prob help what turbo, boost you are running, intercooled ect.
Put some close up pictures in your archive can have a look how its piped up then and don't forget my settings could be way off on yours

Dave.
