Shame you can't see a VRM on the 4x4.

Always drive as though there's a complete idiot coming the other way. (TM) 'My Dad'. And he's not wrong...

Its one my mates from the the SKCC club
he is on here, so may make a comment,

happened on last sunday after one of our club runs,

I also believe the info has been offered to the Police, as the reg plate was readable on the original film

S24 UTD

2006 NISSAN PATHFINDER

Shocking, any faster and Fury would have been toast

Wow.

yellowcab - 13/11/13 at 04:40 PM

What a cock end.

Sorry, that a bit harsh?

nick205 - 13/11/13 at 04:42 PM

Got to be worth talking to the police about that surely?

mookaloid - 13/11/13 at 04:43 PM

Good job he was in a light weight kit. A regular tin tip might not have been able to stop in time.

I hope it has!

Also, look at the guy towing the trailer, as he quite obviously could see what was going to happen, as he pulled over into and possibly on to the grass verge,
So well done to him, as he saved a very high percentage, of a big accident

I was told - always drive as if you might meet yourself coming the other way

bi22le - 13/11/13 at 05:46 PM

I bet 3 points and 60 fine that the dick head driver does not even get contacted!!!

On the other side of the road then!!

morcus - 13/11/13 at 06:30 PM

I'd bet nothing gets done about it either, despite the fact that he's overtaking where he can't see into oncoming traffic and over a solid line on the road and doesn't really seem to do anything to get out of the way at the point where it's too late except try and drive into the side of the car next to him, theres even slow written on the road at about the point he would have started trying to pass. I'm guessing he didn't stop or anything?

steve m - 13/11/13 at 06:48 PM

The owner of the video, and driver of the Fury is Fury1630
He is unable to sign in on here as he's password is locked
but he appreciates the comments

Likewise, shared to FB to increase viewing numbers.

Proby - 13/11/13 at 08:11 PM

What an absolute bellend.

inkafone - 13/11/13 at 11:09 PM

Should be fined just for driving that monstrosity plus it's got a pretend personal number and a chrome bull bar / child killer. Would think with the amount of viewings this is going to get that the press / police will produce a result.

dhutch - 14/11/13 at 04:23 AM

One to watch at home is it....?

Beyond a small misjudgement of overtaking power/pace that one

Understatement of the year. I reckon there is at least 1/2 a mile of double white lines prior to the guy overtaking. Defo needs shafting.
As an aside though this is what happens when a road speeds are minimal and vehicles are towing at 50. Whilst there is no excuse in this case frustration of being stuck behind a slower vehicle is ( IMHO ) just as much responsible for as many accidents as speeding is.

Rightly or wrongly I have fired a report in with a link the video using this site, found via the sussex police website.
