Like KitLoonie, I've just taken my car out for it's first outing since rebuilding the engine (and sorting the cooling system). As part of the rebuild I fitted a better cam... I don't think the car would pass the SVA noise test any more...
Shows what the weather's like - as I was only going round the local roads for 10 minutes or so I went out in my shirt-sleeves and safety specs (yes, and trousers, shoes, etc.). Didn't feel cold at all... can't wait for Summer!
I'm still limiting my max rpm to 4K - 4.5K - and it still went like stink. Can't wait for the engine to be run-in either...

Tempted to go out for another blast...

Went out again this afternoon... told my wife that I was just going round the block...
...25 miles later, I returned home! I didn't tell her how big the block was!
