starting tomorrow for 8 weeks there will be specs speed cameras in operation on the orwel bridge. These are the ones that do avereage speed between two points.

I thought SPECS were the ones that take a digital picture and send it direct to the central computer and then automatically generate a letter to you! They are recognisable because they sit high up on a pole and at night all you see are two red 'eyes' ! The ones that time you between points are usually ones that face you on the side of the the road. Sometimes these are infra red and just take a picture like a GATSO or thay can be in pairs and you get timed between points. Just check on one of the speed camera sites for all the info. Whatever they are they are all a pain in the arse!
