Reading through past threads it seems that the standard R1 can is a popular bike can to fit to CECs aswell as BECs. However I can't find any real figures for noise level. I'm planning to run one on its own on a standard 4age engine and want to know if i'm likely to pass noise tests at various motorsport events/trackdays!

What is the OD of the inlet tube and how is it attached to the rest of the exhaust. Slide on or bolt on?

Also are there any other suitable cans for this application, preferably slide on.

I had an R1 can and cat fitted to my R1 engine at SVA and it measured 100dBa at 7600 RPM

It has a 50mm (or 2" I didn't measure it) pipe

The o/d of the inlet tube is 60mm, which is welded to can.
