Which tires are the best for a S7 lookalike ?

the alloy/ steel rim or the tyre???
guess you mean alloys? down to personal preference.
No no I mean the actual tire, the rubber part.
Of course the alloys / rims are just a matter of opinions although the lighter they are the better I assume.

Hmm as I'm in Belgium I'm not really sure about this 6".
We usually only talk about rimms in inches.
Would that translate to a 185mm tire ?
But what I was actually looking for were brands and types of tires.
F.e. Dunlop SP Sport 9000

I had Pirelli P7s recommended to me, but I had a look round and they are pretty expensive. We have just ordered some Bridgestone RE720s from www.mytyres.net. 205/50 R15 for the back and 185/55 R15 for the front. Reviews seem to suggest they are a good general tyre, good handling wet or dry with decent wear rate. Guess it depends if you are talking track or road use. Guessing most people here would recommend Yokos for track use, but I think they are too soft for the road.
well it would be mainly for road use.
However I would use it as a fun car so grip and handling will be more important than mileage.
Even wet performance is not as important as dry ...
so maybe yoko's will be the way to go.
(BTW a friend of mine is a tire dealer so that makes a difference in the price

I have Yokos on my road car - magical in the dry, treacherous in the wet!
On several occasions I have gone around a roundabout in the wet, floored the pedal and carried on in the direction I was pointing... exciting, but I
would rather go round the corner! (lifting off the accelerator fixed the slide).
DJ.
195 yoko's on front, 205 yoko's on rear, AVS Sport......think the AR32 is meant to be better but a little less tyre life, but on a light weight 7 they last for ever anyhow.
I have Yoko's on my road car as well. Have to buy a new set every year as I'm lucky if they last 10k miles but boy are they good fun. Never knew you could go round a roundabout so fast your passenger can't pull themselves off their door. Also good for upsetting BMW drivers through bends, unless they have damned good tyres they don't stand a chance. Wouldn't buy anything else.
