Merrily driving along tonight about 2 miles from home, car starts missing and just dies. Not of course on a nice quiet side road, but part way round
one of the busiest main road roundabouts in the area.
Ran out of petrol, fuel gauge shows 1/4 of a tank.
So the moral of this story is:
Check your fuel gauge reads empty before the fuel runs out!
Duuuhhhh!!
Another little teething trouble to sort out at the weekend.

Unlucky m8 :-(
Those rounds by you are pretty busy - I brace them Mondays and Fridays to and from Peterborough to Leamington Spa - can't be fun :-(
More my luck than judgement, but when my gauge says '0' it really means 'Empty!'. When the needle's down on the stops
I'm running on vapour...

When my trip meter says 120 I start looking for petrol.
