Just thought I'd share with you all the fact that I decided to pick up the MAC#1 at lunchtime and drive around in her for the rest of the day.

Mines a hairs breath away from being finished and i'm waiting for an SVA date.

Knowing my luck i'll pass then it will pee down for 3 weeks!!

The way I'm going, summer will be over before I finish.

Had a whole week off last week..... DIY, didn't see the inside of the garage once.

Still earned loads of Browny points from the misses, so should be able to spend loads of time in there without any greif for a while.

Well I'm very envious of all you guys building. I enjoyed the building part as much if not more than the driving part.




















LOL - who am I trying to kid - the driving part is GREAT fun but the building is nearly as much fun.

you guys are so lucky having the tinternet at work! i am still building myself, awaiting parts like many others im sure! (BLOODY HISPEC B******BS! and westy for that matter)

managed to get the rear body work trial fitted today! it actually looks a bit like a car from the rear. england match tomorrow so no working on the car, especially when i will be pissed before kick off!

maybe sunday i will look at rad mounts!

Got me timing sorted, went for a 'test' run today and everything is sweet as a nut again. Mr Audi A4 thought he would tailgate me out on to the main road for a laugh - think he thought my car was a toy or something - not for long though

Are hispec still being funny, i thought theyd sorted out their problems, obviously not
