Now I'm finally on the road I'm giving some thought to recovery companies just in case.

Does anyone know of any good deals?

i used to do breakdowns for them both,greenfly will get to you quicker but all they want to do is lift and shift,they raerly do any repairs,rent a clown will spend time trying to get you going,if they dont they will recover you normally via a contract garage

Green Flag have come out within 30 mins both times I've used them and transported the car from Northants to Reading even though I was only a passenger (well I was once I'd lost it on black ice!). RAC & AA sub out their work to the inependants used by GF when they can't cope so might as well use GF. Cheers, Pewe
