I've got my first track day on Saturday at Croft. What's the best way to approach it? Any tips would be gratefully received.

take a few choice spares, trailer it up, start easy but thrash it by then end

What time does it start, many going?
KJ, looks like the full day session is full, but there are spaces for the morning session?

Good luck Kurt! And remember to have fun! If the weather is good I might take a spin down to watch.
Mike
Car not ready, are spectators welcome, as i can take my son as he needs cheering up he helps on the car and loves 7's
Weather looks good, so it would be great to see you down there Mike. Spectators are welcome, I've been a couple of times and it costs nothing to watch.
I hope you have a great time Kurt.
Foot pump and tyre pressure gauge might be useful so you can try different pressures.
Some water and oil. Basic tools. Fuel. Gaffer tape and cable ties is what i normally take. Of course i used to take plenty of cloths to mop up oil
blown from catch tank but hopefully you wont have that trouble
Did you ever get your trainers clean after i took you out at Teesside???? I havent dared to ask before now
Im no great track driver but ive tackled my first 2 by taking it steady at first and concentrating on getting the lines right and being smooth with
the car, then picking up pace throughout the sessions. You will love it.
Hi Darren,
Trainers are terminally stained, but never mind it gave me an excuse to buy a new pair. Thanks for the tips on first track day, I'm really
looking forward to it.
By the way we must meet up somewhere as I've now moved just up the road from you to Witton Le Wear.
Cheers, Kurt
