Went out today in a three car dax rush convoy thought my blackbird engine car would struggle keeping up against the horsepower giants but i was quite
suprised on how the little 1100 engine kept with the other rushes we had an all day run out blew a few cobwebs ill tell you cant wait till the warmer
weather comes it was a little bit slippery on the back end at times.
The beauty of your car is that it is light and far better balanced than the other two that are powered by boat anchors. (I have a boat anchor car
myself) You probably found that you could corner and change direction quicker and without drama compared with the others.
This was Colin Chapman's philosophy, build in lightness and so it is that you can still see Lotus 11s running rings around much more powerful
machinery. This is what the pure 7 is all about, it is light, very nimble and very controllable.

I'm really surprised that no one has leapt to the defence of the BAC cars.

Okay, I'm at a loose end this afternoon waiting for a call to say my car has been rolling roaded so I'll say a few words on behalf of the
BACs.
You have a reverse gear at no extra cost.
An engine that will pull from no revs and produces maximum power at a level when the BEC is still stuttering. So no need for ear plugs
An alternator that will allow you to have everything switched on at once.
okay, I'm struggling now, can anybody think of more things?
Im a bit bored/sick of the whole car engine vs bike engine arguement, sorry.
