This is what i have been doing for the past 2 days.
It was like being par boiled.
However all the electrics seem to work and are now tidy enough for SVA, just a bit of trim to do now then book the dreaded SVA

With that big shiny bonnet you'll be like one of them leather skinned widows who sit on the roof tops of Miami with their reflective boards
Love the polished alloy finish, looks superb..
But are you sure the seats are the right way up
Good on you, all be worth it soon!!
I remember that stage of my build! I got stuck in there once and had to ask SWIMBO to try to help me out. Needless to say she just laughed!

It's one of Robin Hoods finest stainless monocoque's circa 1997, rescued 4 years ago totaly unstarted, by me, not knowing what i had
bought.
It was the devil in me that decided that it would live whatever the time it took, i could not take the ridicule from my drinking buddies if i did not
finish it, however it is turning out well in a retro style
Enjoy this part of your experience with the car - I remember at around the same stage of my build, I was so full of enthusiasm I would be up and out in the garage on the weekends at 5 in the morning, and spent the best part of the days there...loved it. In fact I think I got more pleasure out of building than driving...you will understand what I mean in the near future, I'm sure.
Nice one mate, all the best with your SVA. Cheers Ray
What a terrible driving position! Is there a tv screen under there so you can see where you’re going?
Do you need to point the exhaust outlet down?
