I think I've just about had the perfect weekend.
Friday morning my son and I cycled to school. I rode home, put the bike away, packed the car and blatted from Newcastle to Fort William, via
Edinburgh / Stirling and across the tops to Crianlarich.
Met up with the boys for a mate's stag do.
Then on Saturday we walked up Ben Nevis, having a go at a bit of Extreme Ironing on the way.
Sunday, drove back home, including a bit of a 'spirited' drive with an Aston Martin.
Got home just in time for a bit of Fathers Day time with my son, before settling down to watch Dr Who!
450 miles, no breakdowns, no major incidents, only 1 minor (got a stone caught under the accelerator pedal during an overtake! causing it to stick
wide open!).
Oh and I met Seabass too!
Only slight downside was I missed all of Le Mans, and I'm a bit sore today!
Cheers
Mike
You did this all in the MK?
Nice part of the work there!!
Seabass from Dumb and Dumber? I met him a few years back (he's an ice hockey player if memory serves me correct...)
Sounds like a cracking weekend indeed!

Glad to hear you had a good trouble free weekend. I must have sent you the text just as you got the 4 bars signal! Good timing.
surely meeting Seabass was the highlight.
Yep - I had an irate Mrs in the car so couldn't chat. Looked like you were having fun though!
