I dont know whether this has been done before, but it might be cool if people could share their most fun roads that they have been on, Not just in
England but maybe in Europe..
Then people might be able to plan trips on these roads...
The best road i know is in Italy, Northern Tuscany, check out on the map, from Aulla - Cerreto with some great restaurants on the way. Its about an
hour to get to the top of the mountain, tend to see some ferrari's, pagani's and lamborgini's testing as its only 1.5 hours from
modena.
Let the thread begin...

we could put together a GPS "points of interest" for everyone to use
yeah, although thinking about it, maybe keep to UK first, lets see how a UK list goes :p

For a european road I have often driven the road north from the coast up the mountains towards the Paul Ricard circuit in southern France.
Really twisty, great tarmac, wide road, just perfect. This is the road were Frank Williams had his accident in a Sierra.
For the UK the route from Osmotherly to Helmsley is just superb. A bit narrow and bumpy in places but for scenery coupled with exhileration at
relatively low speeds it is perfect.

If yo go to the Caterham website, they are currently doing this same survey.
My vote is the road from Dore to Chatsworth in the peak district. Not the most twisty road out there, but it was resurfaced a few years ago and is
billiard table smooth with long sweeping bends. Just a shame it's used by so much traffic (and bikes) to attract the rozzers to keep an eye on
it.

A9 in Germany. Not twisty or smooth but there is something satisfying about it when the sticker on the dash of your hire car says PLEASE do not exceed 220kmh. Well, you have to see if it will (and it did!)

possible not for a seven but by far the most fun roads i've been on are the forest roads in Jyvaskyla in finland, gravel roads, the roads that
make up the ouninpohja stage are out of this world, bit of a hire car breaker mind
Edit to say that the stage on my avatar (Mokkipera), belive it or not is a public road,

A82 up through Glencoe and the road to applecross (Bealach na Ba) scenery is nothing short of spectacular. Its just a pity the quality of road surface is shit.
