Tiger Bonnets Again!
mistergrumpy - 22/6/08 at 11:57 AM

Not a pop or anything just a question that I've wondered about for a while. It seems to me that the majority of Tigers' bonnets do not sit on the chassis rails at the sides. Is this done on purpose to allow heat to escape or is it just a bad fit? Not picking fault like I say its just an observation that I've wondered about for a while.

Yes its to allow heat to escape and reduce under bonnet temperatures.

yep. that's obviously the reason for the MK side panels and back panel meeting square to round too..............to let the heat escape

if it was a uniform gap on bothe sides, i'd believe it.
