Used a Gel Goldwing battery on the last one. On the MNR I'm planning to use a lighter gel battery.

Whatever an R1 uses - 12Ah gel seems to ring true....

Lighters don't have batteries, I believe they use a Piezo ignition system.

Mine's a big car battery, at 60 Ah.

Hi,

I use an old Yuasa gel 17Ah intruder alarm battery for past 3 years. It has decent bolt through terminals on the top. I have seen 1 of these in a V8 Westy so its not short on cranking power. I have a 24Ah battery in the garage, not tried this one yet. Used a wet battery from a sit on lawn mower for a year. It worked but started to get at the ali it was sat on.
