New FWD. Locost 3Wheeler Concept

I have been wondering, why we haven't seen a new fwd. locost 3wheeler design ?
What do you guys think, is there still a market for such a thing?, because i did notice that a few car manufacturers built concept 3wheelers, like
the Peugeot 20cup, that would make a great kit.....and VW thart went for a mid-engine set-up with the GX3.
Maybe a very low cost set-up, with a modern k-series engine, or Pug 106, Honda, Toyota, Ford or anyother small hatchback fwd. engine, could make this
concept a very locost fwd. 3wheeler.
Maybe I will need to post a few rough sketches, just to explain myself better....

I just don't think there's enough demand. Everything a three-wheeler can do, a conventional four-wheeler can do better. And the cost-savings
are minimal, really.. I can not think of a single advantage a three-wheeler would have over a four-wheeler, while I can sum up some disadvantages
without too much of a fuss. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like three-wheelers or something, but I really don't think
there's a market out there to support suh a project..

I agree with your comments, but maybe one of the advantages could be weight, and a really different styling.....
I think the person that likes 3wheelers, is a little more eccentric than most of us, and would like something really unique.
The main question would be, ow many would buy such a Fwd. 3wheeler? how big of a market is there? does it still exist?
The Lomax catered to this market in the 80's and 90's, and the Blackjack Avion was the best styled fwd 3wheeler of that period.
It could be that, the market potential is really that small and not worth considering, or maybe it's so small that only retro designed 3wheelers
like the Avion, or Triking and Jzr are worth buying .

I would say the biggie advantage is the use of a m/cycle licence. Other than that they generally have most of the disadvantages of both a car and
bike.

Well it's simple and some Fwd. cars can be really fun, have you ever tried a peugeot 205 1.9 Gti? or an old Golf Gti?.
The fwd idea comes. from all those readily available hatchbacks, that could be bought relatively cheap, and then salvaged for a new kit.
Just thoughts, nothing more....

you can use the same concept and stick the engine in the back (see ariel atom), and while you are at it add another wheel to make it into a proper car
not a tricycle.

You do have 2 kitcars with your specificaions, the Sylva R1ot and the new Mev Rocket..
You're confirming me that, there is no interest for such a fwd. 3wheeler, or for this type of concept.
