We had one of the GTA's back in the day. Bit of a giant killer on the b roads in the right hands it was. Outstanding brakes too.
Would like another atch as would be cheap to tax and run at the moment.
Good choice sir, imo gti nowhere near the car the gta was despite fuel injection.

I've had three metros in the past, last was a 1300 (think it might have been MG badged)

All it ever need was some more power, and a good 16v K series shold be able to provide that (I suppose the 1.8 would fit as well)

Excellent car, virtually no roll. I drive a Fiesta (not my choice) afterwards, first time I drove it I thought it was going to fall over
