What Bullet Cams and recorders do people use??
Krismc - 21/2/10 at 05:37 PM

Just wondering what bullet cams and recorders people use and what sound quality is like??

I see a few people have been using the MD80 and MD80s (both the real ones from dogcamsport and the china copies) but has anyone used the new MD91 ?

http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/products.htm

And is there any mulit recorders out there??

Just got an HD Hero which is excellent. Thought I might get one of the £10 cheap MD80 copy jobs for a rear view.

Yea, nice but pricey but i like that they do waterproof casings for that one, mybees i could take it on low depth diving as well

Just tried the MD80 skiing -

I imagine this'll apply to the other models....

** TIP ** make sure you get a "quickish" microsd card

The cheaper ones can't cope capturing with rapid direction change and you get image breakup

Not sure it would be such an issue fixed to the car, but if on the helmet it'll distort when your head moves quickly

Another vote for the GoPro hd range... I bought one for skiing this year and the results were amazing... waterproof and indistructable...

I've just treated myself to the Race Technology Video 4. Takes 1 high res camera and 3 medium res (for picture-in-picture) and links up to the data logger to display moving track maps and performance data on screen. There are a number of options for dash graphics including an F1 style one and a Gran Turismo style one. It can even download satellite images of the track off Google and superimpose a moving dot to show where you are on track! Take a look at this LINKY
